Thank you for your interest in Greater Indianapolis Music Teachers Association! GIMTA membership offers benefits such as educational meetings and student opportunities. GIMTA is affiliated with Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Indiana Music Teachers Association (IMTA). Membership is for all 3 associations.

Join MTNA, IMTA, and GIMTA

MTNA provides a number of services for members and nonmembers alike. From a Professional Support Line to a database of intermediate chamber music repertoire to mailing list rentals, MTNA offers pertinent, important information and programs, serving as a “clearinghouse” for busy professionals. IMTA is the state division of MTNA and organizes the Achievement in Music program, in addition to sponsoring a state-wide yearly conference. GIMTA is a district of IMTA, offering its own unique programs. Each group provides excellent resources for the music teacher and student alike.
